Infinity Ward knows how to make games that resemble the best moments in military cinema. If you’ve finished the solo campaign for Modern Warfare 2 (What, you haven’t yet?! Grab a copy now!) you’ve probably either jumped out of your seat or wiped the sweat off your brow at more than one point into the game. Personally, the anticipation and tension with the “last stand” in the sandstorm gave me a slight asthma attack. Oh Infinity Ward, you guys rock.
Cliffhanger endings, plot twists, and teeny bits of “OMG you really didn’t need to include that little part but when you did that became more EPIC” scenes (i.e. the astronaut scene) make the game rock solid engaging. Unlike other games where despite being a first person shooter, cut scenes drag away from the player’s eyes into CGI, everything happens from the first person in Modern Warfare 2 from motion blurs, panic attacks, to hand reactions.
So I’m taking a small survey for our readers at Forever Geek — give me your most epic moment in Modern Warfare 2 and vote it in. I’ve listed down some of my favorite gems that left lasting impressions, but I’m sure you have other great gems which is why I’m leaving the poll open to user generated answers. I’ll check back on this next week and report the findings.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 2 is available on multi-platform for XBOX 360, Playstation 3 and PC via retail or Steam download. Despite its short campaign, it has received numerous awards for its gripping storytelling for a first person action shooter and engaging multiplayer leveling system.

I voted ‘other’ but didnt have enough room to write the whole description so I’ll put it here:
