I can always use a glass (or two) of good wine after a meal. While not everyone has a penchant for wine, those who do appreciate this drink know just how good it can be! This handy gadget chills the wine (or maybe any other drink) as you pour, doing away with the need to wait for the bottle to get cold. You do need to keep Ravi in the freezer so that it will be ready for use any time. When you do need to instantly chill wine, just get the gadget out of the freezer, attach it to the mouth of the bottle, and pour.

What happens is that the frozen chamber – which the wine passes through – makes the wine cold enough to suit your taste. There is also some sort of control, which you can manage with a fingertip, that plays around with the air that is allowed into the chamber. What this does is to give you the “power” to adjust the serving temperature and also control the flow of the wine.

Wine Enthusiast is selling the chiller for $49.95. Yeah, a little bit pricey for a casual gift but I am pretty sure that someone who has been in a dire situation before (waiting agonizing minutes for the wine to chill when you are dying of thirst) will not mind paying this much.
