Apparently, “kindness” takes a lot of effort to get ’round these days. Have you seen this?

So Yahoo! sent me an email. They are sending me USD $600 to be kind (I said yes of course. Who could resist a freebie cache of good deeds). I’m not sure if this is a global campaign, but I figure that each region (I’m from Asia) has its own interpretation for how Kindness can be implemented.
What’s great — they’re not monopolizing anybody to spread the word. Yeah sure you can use your Y! Messenger account and Flickr, which are both Yahoo! products but they’re allowing people to spread the word using Twitter (#kindness), Facebook, etc. Nice.
The basic campaign seems to be “tweeting” your response in Yahoo!’s micro site while in other parts of the globe, like where I’m from, actual money is going to be given, and it seems to be my duty to find a creative means to disburse it. If you have any suggestions (a Core i7 perhaps for a needy gamer), send it in!
Maybe I’ll use that money and take her out to brunch. Now that’s an act of kindness.
