I’m sure a lot of you WoW geeks out there have seen this video already. But it’s the first time for me to see this and for those who haven’t seen this extremely hilarious and entertaining video (like me!), then I believe you shouldn’t miss out on seeing this! Spacebar Clown! I’m sooo guilty of this compulsive habit! It just comes naturally, you know. If you’re a WoW player, you’d understand when I say that. Imagine this. There you are, mindlessly leveling and the next thing you know, you’re hitting the space bar and jumping up and down across the fields of Mulgore, like a guy high on caffeine while Read more »

This version of Tetris is crazy awesome
It seems like your typical flash based Tetris game at first but once you start rotating the bricks, you’ll see how harrowing and dizzying an experience it can get. First Person Tetris doesn’t seem to be a branded effort, and the retro effect with the NES, JVC betamax player (or it is a VHS player — I can’t make it out from the chaos) and the Toshiba TV . The nice touch here is that depending on the direction you’re facing … the arrow keys also adapt to the general direction of the “floor.” It isn’t as hard as it looks to play, but really … the point is to Read more »
Audiophiles take note: Linn intros Majik DS-I one box audio system
True music aficionados of old probably had a huge stack of high quality audio components in order to enjoy the best of the musical world: a kick-ass amp linked up to turntable and CD and SACD players. Now, Linn offers a one-box system that claims to be able to do away with all that. While many everyday music lovers will happily download or rip compressed versions of their tunes, Linn’s MAJIK DS-I is all ready to take advantage of lossless audio formats such as FLAC and ALAC, including 24-bit Studio Master downloads that are identical to stereo Super Audio CDs. It can be connected up to other home entertainment components Read more »
State of the Multiverse 55
Although I am embarrassed to admit it, I have been following the Power Girl title since it’s inception. Read more »
TwittaBling: Turning Twitter names and trends into jewellery
So everything has to be related to Twitter in some way these days. TwittaBling is a company dedicated to creating jewellery based on a Twitter name or trending topic. Create necklaces, earrings, rings, wedding bands and bracelets in sterling silver or 14k yellow and white gold with a Twitter-inspired engraving or diamond/Swarovski crystals. Though custom-designed, each order takes only around five days to make and send, so there’s still time to create something for your Twitter-crazed geek boy or girlfriend this Valentine’s Day. Take a look at TwittaBling’s Flickr photostream for examples of their work. Read more »
The Twilight Manga
Seems like the Twilight popularity is far from over. And after the “New Moon” movie premiere the hype is growing again with the pending release of “Twilight: The Graphic Novel” volume one on March 16. So far most people I know can’t stand the Twilight movies(if they read the books they probably couldn’t stand them either). I discovered the Twilight saga in December 2008, I had vacation from work, bought the first book and ended up reading all four books in a week and a half. The movie was also released in the same period which I ended up seeing a few days later. I liked the books but even Read more »
WoWeekly: 3 Ways To Make Money Fast in Patch 3.3
Considering that you have a couple of alt toons already in WoW, I have 3 ways for you to earn money fast in Patch 3.3! And if you have alt toons like me (I’m sure you do!), these tips are going to be most applicable to you! 3. Sell Your Emblems For Gems. I try to regularly do Random Heroic Dungeons on all my toons ever since that feature came out, and as of now, I’ve amassed quite a number of Emblems. Like on my priest, I really don’t need any Emblem of Triumphs anyway. So the number just keeps on growing and growing and growing. Last week, my Emblem Read more »
State of the Multiverse 54
As the story centers around a child in a ‘real’ world (also known as a Fallow Earth, though I don’t remember where that term came from, except somebody used it to describe the original Earth Prime), I can understand where the accusations of teenage wish-fulfilment come from. My first instinct is to blow a raspberry at them and say ‘Aw, you’re just jealous!’ Read more »
M&M Dispenser Maze: Great for dieters who like a challenge
SparkFun Electronics have been at it again, this time building something that will definitely slow down your candy habit (unless you just raid the store of course). The M&M Dispenser Maze features a classic wooden labyrinth around which you must guide an M&M without it falling off the edges. It uses 8-bit Nintendo buttons for resetting and starting the game, and the joystick from a PlayStation for controlling pitch and roll of the table. Fantastic idea. Now can we have a version with more obstacles and items to control? Via Read more »
The Rise Of The Blessed Gadgets
I grew up in church – and that can be taken literally, mind you. I am used to having all sorts of things and activities blessed. When someone moved to a new house, there would be a gathering to have it blessed. When someone bought a new car (or motorcycle), it would be blessed. I’ve never really heard of people having their gadgets blessed, though. Have you? Well, if you’re the Rev. Canon David Parrott, “blessed gadgets” are nothing new. The minister of St. Lawrence Jewry church in London took the activity one step further by blessing a bunch of laptops and phones (smart phones, no less!) on Monday. He Read more »
