Hardcore fans never ceases to amaze me. They always think of clever ways to show their appreciation to the source of their adoration. Some buy complete DVD sets, some create fan-made artworks, and even their own movie trailers. Others create costumes like Anthony Le, who made his very own War Machine costume out of pieces of high impact urethane and a bunch of rivets.

Wow.

The costume’s design is a mix between Phil Saunder’s War Machine concept and the one from the upcoming Iron Man 2 movie. The suit is complete with Wrist rockets, a mini-gun, an arc reactor, repulsor gauntlets, a helmet with light-up eyes, and even a faceplate that opens up.

Even if it is already awesome as it is, Le is still hard at work in upgrading his suit to make it look more like the one seen from the movie trailers.

He’s even working on making his suit motorized like the open and closing of his face helmet and his missile pod, and the moving of the mini-gun. Pretty soon he might just make the thing fly! Uhmm… yeah, he might just do that.

Le’s continuous work on the suit has gained him support from the internet community. Iron Man movie director, Jon Favreau, even tweeted about it giving it a thumbs up.

If I were Le, I’d hit the bars with the costume on pick up chicks while dazzling them with my light-up eyes. Oh wait, he already did that. Darn.
