At £3 a charge, $200 doesn't seem like a very big price to pay.... Think of all the cabling if you charged 80 iPods! I am always running out of USB ports, and am too lazy to buy a hub. I'm just glad the USB port (full size version at least) is reasonably robust. I dread to think what I'd have done to cables with pins on (remember parallel printer and VGA ports?). They'd almost certainly have one or two bent pins on now and be totally unusable.
