The older Apple notebook computers may not have been the most environmentally friendly on the planet, but some resourceful types have created a functional timepiece from their defunct iBook G4 instead of just chucking it on the scrapheap.
In fact, I wish I’d seen this before I had to get rid of my iBook.
As you can see, the screen portion, with iconic Apple logo, is the clock face, while the mouse is the pendulum.
Assembling clocks in this manner isn’t too difficult, so you could probably use any old laptop screen to achieve this. However, there’s something special about using an Apple machine.
More useful and long-lasting than the funny little transparent Apple logo stickers you seem to get with every Apple product.
