Sony's S Frame DPP F700: It's a printer and a photo frame all in one

About two years ago, having a digital photo frame in your living room was considered to be somewhat of a luxury. Later on, Motorola and Kodak innovated a bit by coming up with live updating photo frames that stream photos via 3G from any Motorola phone to Kodak’s frame. Not sure if it picked up — Motorola left the market for some time and Kodak … well.

Today, Sony has made even better use of the digital photo frame by combining it with a portable printer. So not only does it serve the aesthetic purpose of viewing photos, you can also use it to crop, rotate and print. Say hello to the new Sony S-Frame DPP F700. For about USD $300.00, it actually is quite a steal as a CANON Selphy is only slightly cheaper. I’ve tried it and yeah, it works as promised, printing out photos chosen from a memory card, displayed into the frame’s 7 inch screen. It’s pretty fast. Ink dries fast too. Yeah, I’d buy one.
