So I did a search for “Death Ray” and got entries from way back in the 1960′s. Wow A Death Ray Bomb — not only does it explode, it also houses a “death ray” that kills you off if the bomb doesn’t do you at once. Here you go.
The best part for me — the advertising. I’ve gone through stashes of comics from the 60′s and it’s interesting to see the what items were being marketed during that era, and even more interestingly, HOW they were being marketed. For some reason, during that period in the 60′s there was a prevalence of advertising with binoculars and telescopes.
