I’m a geeky guy, there’s no doubt about that. But at the end of the day, I’m still a man and I still really enjoy action movies. That’s why this is going to be an epic summer.

So who’s in this movie? I dunno, just a few people. Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, Jet Li, Jason Statham, Randy Couture, Steve Austin, Mickey Rourke, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Bruce Willis to name a few.

It’s about a crew of mercenaries known as The Expendables who get hired to take out a dictator. Or at least that’s what I’m guessing the plot is, because the trailer is all about explosions, loud noises, and lots of action. With an ex-professional wrestler and MMA guy in the mix, you can expect some sweet moves, and that’s definitely the case here. Watching someone get taken down with an arm bar from a standing position is pretty damned cool, whether you’re a fan of the UFC or not.

Of course, I do have the trailer here for you to check out as well. It’s safe for work (unless your work has a policy against being too awesome) and is a lot of fun to watch. The movie is scheduled to be released on August 13th.
