Geek Tip: What Is A Sidejacking Attack?

I personally think that Geeks are not only into geeky things like anime, comics and gadgets. They should also be tech-savvy. And when I say tech-savvy, I don’t just mean that they know how to use computers and the internet. They should be able to understand things at a “computer scientist’s” (for a lack of better term, hehe. B.S. of Computer Science anyone?) point of view.

Here’s a little geek tip I’ve come across just recently. This video was posted almost 3 years ago, but I bet your badoodles not a lot of people are aware of this. I sure wasn’t!

Now I’m actually scared of using those free Wi-Fi at the malls! Thank the geek gods I check my e-mail via Apple Mail on my iPod Touch when I’m using free Wi-Fi. But I wonder how safe that still is.

I gotta admit, hackers are damn cool, but you got to hate them some time, especially when you’re a victim!

what is really surprising in all this is that browsers not already check both http and https protocols and then go for the latter if available when a protocol is not defined by the user.

Just so you know, Gmail is now completely SSL.
