Darth Vader Plays In World Cup, Promotes Netbooks [Video]

Darth Vader Soccer Screen Shot 223x157 Darth Vader Plays In World Cup, Promotes Netbooks [Video]My only language is English so I’m not positive what this video is promoting, but I’m pretty sure it’s a line of Star Wars friendly notebooks with internet and TV service. In any case it’s pretty funny.

In the video Darth Vader is setup for a shootout kick in which he pushes the ball past the goalie using the force, never actually placing a foot on the ball, a move that pisses off a player from the other team, leading Vader to choke the player with the force.

Yeah it’s a little goofy but it’s a really clever promotional tool.

Here’s the video:

I’m pretty sure Darth Vader earns a red card for this play, but on a positive note, notice the lack of vuvuzelas!

If anyone wants to translate this one for me it would be much appreciated. However as a good sign of promotional thought, I don’t need to know what the actors are saying to understand the hilarity of the piece.

    Helping on the translation:

    Episode II
    Penalty shooting
    Mexico – France

Voice: Only during the World cup, sign up for “YOO” without installation fees, and for 100 pesos more (around 8 dollars) get the Limited Edition star wars netbook.

Im guessing the 8 dollar price is just like an initial fee
