I have my iPhone 3G for more then a year now but I still don’t have a stand alone charger for it. When I’m away from home I always borrow one. But cable chargers are always a hassle, I have no patience for cables if I have to take them along with me. Now thanks to ThinkGeek you can buy the Cordless Wall Charger for the iPhone and iPods for the nice price of 29.99 dollars. This device is compact and easy to throw in your bag with the rest of your stuff without everything getting tangled. You iPhone will charge faster too then when charging through the computer due Read more »

PTSD on Greek Street
It’s been some time since I remember reading any of Peter Milligan’s work. In fact I think that last time his name jumped out at me was his run on Animal Man, amply filling the shoes of Grant Morrison with such creations as the Nowhere Man and the Front Page. As much as Grant’s run sticks in my mind, that subsequent storyline has also stayed in my memory over the years. (I would love to see Nowhere and the Front Page again.) Fancying something a little different, I grabbed Greek Street #12 this week, jumping into the middle of a storyline (I think), not having a clue who any of Read more »
Lego Creations: Felt Tip Printer With Mac Connectivity
I have a hard enough time connecting most common printers to my MacBook Pro, but apparently that wasn’t going to scare away a coder and Lego enthusiast who turned his love of Lego’s into a working felt tip printer for Mac’s. The Lego Felt Tip Printer was built completely from scratch, including the code needed to make the system work. Read more »
Race The Movie
I have a long list of movies that I still need to watch – many of them are not showing in the cinemas anymore. You’d think I’d go see those movies first before adding another one to my list, but this new computer animated film just caught my eye. Dubbed Race, this movie just might be a breath of fresh air. About a week ago, I saw an e-mail from an unknown sender in my Inbox. It was from Jim of Hyper Image, the company behind the movie. He was asking if I would be interested in writing about the movie. At first, I was hesitant as I don’t see Read more »
Muppets Get Dressed Up As Gods For HeroesCon
I can’t get enough of the Muppet Show, I’ve loved it ever since I was a kid and now Eisner-nominated Muppet Show artist Roger Langridge has given the muppets a facelift for this weekends upcoming HeroesCon in North Carolina. Just in case you don’t recognize the characters, Kermit has been turned into Thor, Miss Piggy has been transformed into Sif and Gonzi is featured as Loki. I’m sure Miss Piggy is happy with the outcome, if you’re unfamiliar with the story of the gods, Sif is the blonde haired goddess of Earth and the wife of Thor. Landgridge isn’t only contributing his amazing cartoonist skills to the event, according to Read more »
Observatory dresses up like R2-D2
You are looking at one of the coolest college campus pranks of all time. And it just happened yesterday. Some unidentified students at Carlton College in Minnesota engaged in an end-of-the-school-year prank, dressing up the college’s Goodsell Observatory to look like the biggest R2-D2 ever. Fear not — nothing has been defaced. Look closely at the photo and you can see that it was all done with painted sheets of fabric. What’s most remarkable about it to me is how perfectly-proportioned it is. Below is a stock photo of the observatory as it normally appears. See more angles of the giant R2-D2 here. Read more »
Captain America Outfit Revealed, It's Cooler Than We Thought It Would Be
When I heard so very long ago that a Captain America movie was on the horizon my first thought was “oh dear god don’t let them destroy the outfit” after all the red, white and blue coloring is a symbol of what Captain America stands for. I’m happy to announce that a mock-up of the outfit has been spotted (pictured above) and it’s not hideous. It may be the one time I actually like the remake of the outfit more than the original. AICN broke the mock-up of the costume which features a combat sensible design and keeps true to the original shield design from the comic book, a smart Read more »
Whose side are we on?
Such days bring very much into focus issues such as Life and Death, and the meanings of both. Sort of justifies all of that Infinity Gauntlet nonsense, doesn’t it? Read more »

Lifelogging Device For Techie Cats
I’ve never been a cat person, but I cannot deny that these critters can be so cute; and there is no doubt about it – there are a lot of techies out there who are so in love with their cat pets. If you’re one of them, you will be delighted to know that Sony has just created a gadget that will allow your cat to be part of the cyberworld – through Twitter in particular. During the even Open House 2010, which took place on the 28th of May this year, Sony Computer Science Laboratories (CSL) Inc. showed off what they call a lifelogging device for cats. The idea Read more »
