Green Lantern Costume Revealed, Brings 21st Century Look

EW 1112 cover comiccon 308 Green Lantern Costume Revealed, Brings 21st Century Look

The new Green Lantern costume has been revealed on the cover of Entertainment Weekly and in my opinion Hal Jordan (played by Ryan Reynolds) has never looked better.

The suit was created using CGI and it gives off an “alien” type feel with glowing accents that brings the costume into the 21st century.

I also really like the glowing eyes and ring on the costume. My biggest fear was that the costume would stray to far from the original, instead it manages to stay true to form while adding a bit of eye candy.

It’s still hard to determine how the lines will look on film, but the form fitting suit doesn’t suck and for right now that’s enough for me.

What do you think about the new Green Lantern costume?

I definitely like the look, although with CGI stuff I always worry about how it will work on screen and in motion. Keeping my fingers crossed that it continues to look awesome!
