Man, ThinkGeek has everything. Well, almost everything; I keep waiting for them to offer an Inception spinning top. Now this is what I’m talkin’ about. Forget “shaken, not stirred.” This is how John McClane takes his drink. Eight bucks will get you this silicone ice cube tray that makes 6 ice cubes in the shape of a very authentic-looking pistol. It’s dishwasher safe, and can be used for other things besides standard ice, such as Jell-o or popsicles. Normally it wouldn’t take 14 years for a popular British TV movie to find it’s way stateside, but that’s exactly what happened with the 1996 Doctor Who TV movie on DVD when a rights dispute occurred between BBC, Fox and Universal Pictures, a rights battle that has finally come to an end. The TV movie stars Paul McGann as the 8th doctor, a performance that is considered decent by even some of the most hardcore Doctor Who fans. I like poetry as much as any other person (which is not saying much, if you think about it).  Seriously, I do like certain poets, and there are episodes in my life when I would read nothing but poetry.  Writing poetry is a totally different thing, though.  I would not even dare go down that path. Man, I miss Calvin & Hobbes. I actually wrote a college paper on the themes and motifs of that daily comic strip, and it got fairly deep. Earned me an A+. But I digress.
