Optimus Prime may be a 21st century Transformer, but the team at Encline Designs wanted to see what he would have turned into during the 1800′s and the most obvious answer was formed, a steam engine!
The pictures shown below showcase Optimus Prime in all of his transformation stages as a steam engine.
Now I wonder what the rest of the Transformers would have become, perhaps Shockwave could transform into an old civil war .44cal Army Colt.

This Optimus is not a design from “Encline Designs”, this is the Optimus prime from IDW comic book “Transformers Evolutions: Hearts of Steel”, and that figure is an actual toy release by the 3rd party company “Mastermind Creations”.
“Encline Designs” most of the times do repaints of toys, and that’s what this is. :P
