The Week in Game Vids

First up is a little 30-second commercial that’s not so much a trailer as a live-action Halloween wish, from Dead Space 2.

One of the biggest news items of the week was Hybrid, an upcoming FPS from the makers of Scribblenauts and Drawn to Life. It’s a big deal because a hardened shooter the last thing you’d expect from a formerly kid-friendly game maker.

A new gameplay trailer for Disney’s Epic Mickey that shows off some truly epic gameplay.

Also in the news this week was this sort of-unveiling for the “Shopping Channel” that will be available on the Nintendo 3DS.

Here’s a new look at the new GoldenEye‘s St. Petersburg tank scene.

F.E.A.R. 3 has a new trailer that highlights the squirm-worthy choices the game presents you with, where you’re forced to hunt down and kill a villain that you’re related to.

Lots of undead creepy crawlies — just in time for Halloween — in this quickie trailer for EA’s Shadows of the Damned.

A debauchery-filled launch trailer for The Sims 3: Night Life.

And lastly, here’s a new look at the setting (Rome) of the game that tops my wishlist: Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood. The game went gold this week! It’s really happening!

  1. Epic Mickey is the big one on my list of games to keep an eye on from the ones listed here. I don’t think I’ve been this hyped for a Mickey game since the days of Castle of Illusions, and Fantasia on the Genesis. =)
