If you have some extra cash, and you just can’t get enough of LEGO bricks, you ought to go check out eBay NOW. This guy is selling his entire LEGO collection – all 1000 lbs of it plus more than 2000 mini-figures! Yup, you read that right. Half a ton of LEGO bricks can be all yours; that is, if you have $20,000 lying around somewhere.
Why would anyone want to spend that much money on some guy’s LEGO collection? Well, here is what the whole collection has to offer:
“…let’s cover what is here in this lot. Well, first of all every theme you could ask for. And pretty much every piece Lego has made. I spent years separating and organizing 1000’s of lbs of Lego. I weighed everything in their containers and it all came to around 1158 lbs not including the metal cabinet with Lego instructions.
“All of every theme you could ask for” and “Much every piece Lego has made” – pretty huge claims, but the pieces have been tidied up – cleaned, sorted, and bagged even. You can, in fact, take a look at the collection photos at the seller’s Photobucket account. As for the mini-figures, here is a sampling of what is included.
I don’t know just how big your LEGO collection is, but I think there is a good chance that it will benefit from the addition of another half a short ton. What say you? For $20,000? I think this guy might have to list his collection one more time. (Yeah, this is the second time he had to put it up for sale as he didn’t find a buyer the first time.)
So here’s the link to the eBay auction. Good luck!
