Last year, Robin shared with us the tallest Optimus Prime statue ever made. It was displayed outside of the Bird’s Nest stadium in Beijing, where the 2008 Olympics was held. It stood at 10 meters tall, was made out of junk material, and was brought in from Taiwan.
As impressive as the statue is, yesterday, it had to hand over the distinction of being the tallest Optimus Prime installation in the world. Another Optimus Prime statue was unveiled in China, this time in Shenyang City. This statue weighs in at 21 tons and is 11 meters tall. It is also made of various car parts – taken from 20 cars.
