I’m picking my jaw up off the floor, and after watching this video, you will be too.
If Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was ever made into a big-budget movie, it would certainly look exactly like this. And the real kicker: it’s 100% fan made.
That’s hard to believe, to say the least, particularly when the quality is this high. We’re talking full special effects, solid actors, location shooting, cinematography, the works. It’s called “Find Makarov,” and it was made as a proof of concept by a Canadian studio calling itself “We Can Pretend.” The company is hoping to gage public response, in the hopes of making a series of web shorts based on the Modern Warfare franchise.
They’ve got my vote.
It’s not officially endorsed by CoD publisher Activision or developer Infinity Ward, but the devs are aware of it, and even seem to dig it.
