IDW’s Infestation certainly succeeded in one thing, and that’s in encouraging me to read the Transformers again. Other than a few issues last year, I have not really read the tales of Cybertron since the original Transformers movie way back in 1986, bar the recent movie adaptations. Okay, so “Swackett” isn’t made specifically for us geeks, per se. But I guarantee you’re going to love it. Swackett is an app that takes weather data from AccuWeather and presents it in a simplified way. Want to know what the weather is like right now, or the forecast for tomorrow? Instead of the temperature and little pictures of clouds and whatnot, Swackett shows you “peeps” — picture icons of people who are always dressed appropriately for the weather.
