All this business lately with the death of (Ultimate) Spider-Man generated the same response in me as pretty much everybody else: Peter Parker will be back. Because as we all know, nobody stays dead in comic books. Here are 12 prime examples of superhero resurrections. Read more »

Does Steam have more to offer gamers?
There was a small bump in gaming news about how Battlefield 3 would not be made available through Steam. Of course, disgruntled gamers from all over the world cried foul on EA. It seemed like a simple bait to get people to choose EA’s Origin service which is a lot similar to Steam, sans the community. It made perfect sense as a typical corporate move to get people to use Origin and up their market share. Battlefield 3 seemed like the perfect bait for gamers. Hours later, EA sends out a reply to the Battlefield 3 fan base telling them that they would have gladly put the game on Steam Read more »
Fischertechnik Precision Pendulum Clock
There is so much that one can do with LEGO that only your imagination and creativity will limit you. Of course, when it comes to creativity, LEGO is not the only thing you can play with. One word: Fischertechnik. Add pendulum clock, and you’ve got yourself an interesting project. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that making a clock that tells the time accurately is not at all a simple matter. Make that a pendulum clock, and you have an even bigger task. After a lot of work, they got something like this. Based on the details in their web site, though, this isn’t even the working Read more »
Rash Actions And Apologies
It looks like I owe Rob Liefeld an apology after my comments last week. After reading Rob Kirkman’s The Infinite #1 from Image, I found it to be a thoroughly fun read. Rob Liefeld’s style intimated as much gore as ever, but was somehow nice and clean. Maybe it was the addition of Adelso Corona’s inks; but the art actually reminded me of when Mr Liefeld’s style was new, fresh and exciting, back in the latter issues of New Mutants and the original X-Force. In the meantime, Mr Kirkman’s writing avoids so far many of the pitfalls of many a time travel story, with a fast paced, action packed story Read more »

Zombie Gunship Now in HD and still .99 cents
It’s definitely one of the biggest twists to zombie apocalypse games. In Zombie Gunship, the humans have taken the fight back to the undead from the skies. Combining the most exciting moments from Modern Warfare 2 on board an AC130 and adding a zombie twist (heck the black pings don’t even look anything near zombies), Zombie Gunship is hands down one of the better 5-minute fixes I’ve gotten my hands on. As an AC130 gunner, you have three different types of arsenal at your disposal. You must use these to light up the ground and defend the human bunker from being overrun by zombies. Outside, you must also help escort Read more »

The Borrower Arrietty Review
The Borrower Arrietty is an anime movie based on the novel ‘The Borrowers’ by Mary Norton. Produced by the famed animation studio, Ghibli, the anime was released in Japan in July 2010.
