With it being shipping day today, I probably should wax lyrical about any issue ones released today, such as Robert Kirkman and Rob Liefeld’s Infinite #1. I mean, this is Robert Kirkman, creator of Invincible and the Walking Dead, what’s not to like? I confess I am not a fan of Liefeld’s art, and what I have read of the plot in advance interviews with the writer, I see very little to differentiate it from say Stan Lee’s The Traveller or various other time travel stories I have read. Does anyone remember what it was like when Google Maps first came out? If memory serves me correctly, the service was launched some time in 2005. What I do remember is not finding much use for it back then since my area was not covered yet. Today, I cannot count the number of times I have had to thank Google Maps for helping me find my way. It’s that time of year again when anime fans from all over Japan get together to decide on the next moe (pronounced mo-eh) queen of the year. I have always been attracted to LEGO creations (who hasn’t?), but I have never been one to spend hours playing with LEGO bricks. Neither do I go out of my way to examine LEGO creations unless they totally stand out; and boy, does this LEGO dragon stand out! Created by akama1_lego, the unique creature is called Firestorm. Not totally unique but definitely appropriate. For sure, countless dragons have been created using LEGO bricks, but this LEGO dragon is way ahead of all the others.
