New ‘Jurassic Park’ Game Media & Release Date

Telltale Games has set November 15th as the release date for Jurassic Park: The Game, and unveiled a brand new action-packed trailer and some gorgeous screenshots for the game.

The video game picks up where the events of the first movie left off (a few years before the second film), with more of Isla Nublar’s residents trying to evacuate after the dinosaurs have broken free from their paddocks. The game will unfold in periodic episodes (much like Telltale’s recent Back to the Future game), but Telltale promises a lot more action and suspense for Jurassic Park fans than their usual lighthearted fare.

Take a look at the latest screens below and be sure to watch that new trailer above for an idea of how action will work in the game. Telltale’s developers went to great lengths to ensure that the movie’s dinos were accurately recreated, while adding some new dinosaurs specifically for this game. They certainly look authentic in the screenshots. What do you think?

November 15th? Hot on the tail of games such as Batman Arkham City, Skyrim and BF3 being released? Good luck selling that Telltale Games….

  2. Jon says:

This game keeps looking better. TTG will probably sell Jurassic Park well over time if it’s episodic (like all their other games).
