Who remembers the good old days when you were happy with having the colored version of the Game Boy? I never had that – not even the black and white one – but the joy of playing with my friend’s unit seemed to make my spirits soar sky high at that time. Kids of today might scoff at the idea of having “only” a Game Boy to play with, but anyone who has had the privilege of enjoying it decades ago will be smiling at the mere memory for sure.
Then there is Tetris. It’s a whole different story with this game, because it has just evolved to survive time. Even kids today who still cannot spell big words know how to play Tetris! And thanks to new platforms, Tetris has widened its reach even more.
Enter Julius von Brunk, who showcased his Domaster & Tetrawing creation at MOC. From the Nintendo Game Boy system & Tetris to a robot and a bird. And vice versa.
It’s a whole different kind of Transformers that will delight you. From this.

Wondering about the origins of the name? According to the builder:
The name Domaster is an amalgamation of “Dot Matrix with Stereo Sound”, the blurb written above the screens of old Game Boys. The name Tetrawing was coined by New York burlesque girl Dangrr Doll who does a Tetris-themed routine with D20 Burlesque — a geek/gamer sexy striptease troupe in my town!
