I know it’s just the Avengers movie poster with the actors cut out and LEGO minifigs stuck in. I shouldn’t love it as much as I do. But I admit it: seeing this makes me ten kinds of giddy! And there might even be a way to get your hands on one…
Yep, these are the real LEGO minifigures that will be sold LEGO Marvel Super Heroes sets starting this summer. The brick maker wisely chose The Avengers as fodder for its first line of Marvel products, though LEGO is not beholden only to make sets based on Marvel’s film franchises. Sets are also in the works based on Marvel Comics, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see some of the TV cartoon shows get the LEGO treatment as well.
LEGO is printing two million of these full-color posters that they’ll be giving away on The Avengers‘ premiere night at selected theaters nationwide. No way to know which theaters they’ll be giving the posters away at, but I’d go out of my way to get one. How about you?
LEGO’s Marvel Super Heroes play sets are scheduled for release this summer.
I love this picture. I sure hope LEGO decides to make this game. I think if they do it will finally be a LEGO game to rival the Star Wars one.
