Screaming Superheroes: Because They Also Get Frustrated

Superheroes may have powers that are not accessible to mere mortals like you and me, but it doesn’t mean that they do not have their fair share of frustrations in life. Think of a random superhero. Any superhero. I am pretty sure that you will be able to think of at least one thing in his or her life that gets his or her nerves.

Roberto Salvador, a graphic designer based out of Brussels, seems to be in touch with this side of superheroes. At least if his work featuring screaming superheroes is any indication. Using the name That Design Bastard, he has created a series of designs showcasing screaming superheroes¹, and I have to tell you that they make me want to scream as well. After all, whether you are saving the world or simply living your mundane existence, frustration is all part of life.

Taking a closer look at the angry superheroes, it seems to me that their mouths are shaped in the same way. I don’t know if that is a superhero thing, or the artist simply felt like making them look the same. In any case, the renditions are definitely not your ordinary superhero drawings.
