Those of you in the UK and the US probably can’t wait for tomorrow – when BBC will be giving all Whovians the only thing one can ask for on a Saturday: the return of Doctor Who.
If the return of Doctor Who (and his companion, of course) is already getting you all worked up, how about the idea of a live episode for the TV series’s 50th anniversary? Well, it’s all in the rumor stage at this point, but hints have come straight from the Time Lord’s mouth.
In an interview with Forbes, Matt Smith stated, “It won’t just be a televised event, I think it will be a live event. The way it’s transmitted on TV will hopefully be an inventive thing – something different.”
That actually reads more than a hint to me, don’t you think?
While that is all that we have about the 50th anniversary episode of Doctor Who, there is a lot to devour in relation to the upcoming season.
