Guess Who Doctor Who Board Game

If you are a child of the 80s, you probably have fond memories of playing the board game, Guess Who? Created by Ora and Theo Coster, the game was first introduced in 1979 in the UK and released in the US a couple of years after. It still exists today, although I don’t know many kids who still play the game. Come to think of it, I don’t know any kid who does!

For the “modern” kid, though, there is a new version of Guess Who? – Doctor Who Guess Who?!

The board game is created by Karen Kavett, presumably a Doctor Who fan. The concept for the Doctor Who Guess Who game was born this way:1

A few months ago I had an idea – what if there was a Doctor Who version of the classic game Guess Who? It seemed too obvious to not have been done before, but all I could find was this t-shirt design, not a high-quality custom version of the game. And so, I ordered a copy of the game off of eBay and then spent a weekend painting the pieces and designing new cards and putting the whole thing together.

I haven’t played Guess Who in eons, but I would not mind spending a lazy Saturday with this game.

And the brains behind Doctor Who Guess Who…

Now if only she would make some to sell!
