I don’t know if you do Christmas, but for those of you who do, you’re probably deep into your holiday shopping endeavors by now. Or maybe, if you’re like many others, you’re totally leaving things to the last minute.

Whichever group you may fall under, I am pretty sure that this hand-carved wooden LEGO minifig will be a welcome addition to your shopping list. Whether you’re going to give it to someone special or you’re keeping it for yourself, that I am totally unsure of. (I wouldn’t blame you if you opt for the latter.)

This hand-carved wooden LEGO minifig is the work of French designer Thibaut Malet. He is based in Montpelier, France and works in interior and furniture design. And quite obviously, he is also an AFOL.

He made this hand-carved wooden LEGO minifig a limited edition project, so actually there are 20 of them. Each item is 11 cm tall and numbered. In keeping with the natural look, the packaging is wood and cardboard as well.

Take a look, and start wishing for one.

So why would this hand-carved wooden LEGO minifig make you throw a tantrum when there’s nothing but goodness to it? Well, Monsieur Malet used to sell it on Etsy, but it seems it is not available right now. Just when you thought you could stuff one or two in your stockings this year! Maybe, just maybe, with enough clamor from people, Santa and his elves could help?
