There’s More to Snowflakes Than Star Wars

Snowflakes are some of the simplest and yet most fun decorations to make for the holiday period. While some of you get to experience the real deal – cold and wet – once winter hits, it does not mean that handmade snowflakes for the tree and windows can’t add to the holiday spirits.

I guess it is a no brainer that Star Wars snowflakes have been most popular in the recent years, but wouldn’t it be lovely to have geeky snowflakes to add to your collection? After all, there is more to life than Star Wars. (Okay, you can bash me now.)

I looked around for some other geeky snowflakes that you might be interested in making yourself, and I found fewer than I hoped for. Still, these designs are pretty cool, and if you want to have more than Star Wars snowflakes adorning your home for the holidays, these geeky snowflakes might make you happy.

The Doctor fully approves.

Not exactly Christmas-sy, but I’m sure it still does the trick.

Not feeding any flames here, but there has to be something from Star Trek, of course.

I doubt that the Cylons celebrate Christmas, but this snowflake pattern is my second favorite of the lot – the TARDIS being first.

Nerdy Snowflakes

Here’s a bunch of patterns more to inspire you. Even if you’ve already put the decorations up, I’m sure there is still space for a couple of geeky snowflakes somewhere.
