In May, I shared with you a Kickstarter project that caught my fancy: a book project called What I Remember About Dinosaurs. It has been more than six months since then, and am I glad to see/hear that the project has been a success – in more ways than one.
Brian Russell has been so kind as to send some pics of the final product, which is on sale on several platforms: Barnes & Noble, Amazon, and BAM!
Just to refresh your memory – or in case you have not heard of What I Remember About Dinosaurs – the book is all about Brian’s reliving his childhood years, in particular the parts where he was an avid dinosaur fan. In essence, the book is 30 years’ worth of a passion for these extinct animals who still capture the hearts of kids today.
The added value of What I Remember About Dinosaurs lies not only in the artwork – which as you can see is excellent – but also the treatment of the topic. Humor gets people of all ages, and that’s what the book banks on. Forget a dry retelling of what happened to the dinosaurs or a boring list of the different kinds of dinosaurs.
It’s all about having fun while learning about the ancient past. If you’re already convinced that Jurassic Park is going to be part of your kids’ childhood, then What I Remember About Dinosaurs should be in the picture, too. Learn more about it here.
