It’s that time of the year again, when ghouls, zombies, and everything freaky comes out into the open. Not that for some people, it’s not a normal thing. If you’re into the freaky, scary, or whatever similar adjective you prefer, and you like tatts, then you’ll have lots of eye candy to tide you over till everyone dresses up for Halloween.
Here are some “Halloween tattoos” for the brave; brave because you are willing to stay under the gun for hours on end, experiencing pain; brave because these works of art are not for the weak of heart. Who knows, you might even get inspired to get one! (Note: I decided to go the “” way because what’s scary for some may not be for others. Whatever floats your boat, right?)
These two are from a collection called Freaky Tattoos. Nothing more needs to be said.
Tattoo Easily Zombie Collection
From Tattoo Easily, these are a combination of scary tattoos and (almost) cute ones.
Zombie Apocalypse Tattoo
The Walking Dead has nothing on the full-back zombiecalypse tatt. It’s enough to give me the chills! You have to admire the dedication of this guy. It took 53 hours in a span of a year to get this just as he wanted it. (Source)
His real name is Rick Genest, but people around the world know him as Zombie Boy, because of his full-body zombie tattoo. Recently, he made the news again because of his stunt with Dermablend, which made the tatts disappear totally – thanks to makeup.
This is where I dump “generic” scary tattoos that are perfect for Halloween.
Dont’t tell me that doesn’t give you the creeps. (Source)
Now this is a bonus. It’s just so wrong, I find it scary. (Source)
Not really the same as tattoos, scarification is a form of body modification, which goes beyond applying ink underneath your skin, obviously.
This has made the rounds, and I am pretty sure once healed, it would not look so horrific. Still…
Here’s another scarification “tattoo” that is enough to make one cringe.
