Oftentimes, when it comes to movie talk, we hear about summer blockbusters. That’s not really a surprise, though, as movie makers target the widest range of audience possible to rake in the big bucks.
For anime fans, though, there are quite a few new anime movies that are set to be released in the latter half of 2014. That’s the good news. The not-so-good part is that some – or rather, most – of them are only officially opening in Japan, as you can very well expect. Then again, that has not proved to be much of an issue with globalization, yeah?
If you haven’t got your anime movies watching list lined up for the rest of the year, here are some that you will want to watch out for.
Soreike! Anpanman: Ringo Bōya to Minna no Negai
This is the 25th theatrical Anpanman movie, “Let’s Go! Anpanman: The Apple Boy and Everyone’s Wishes” in English. There were some doubts as to whether the movie would open due to its creator passing away, but fans would love the fact that it’s still on!
