There’s a lot of noise made about the big studio panels that take place in Hall H and Ballroom 20 at San Diego Comic-Con. And that leads to people standing in line days in advance just to get inside. For those of you who just don’t feel like blowing a day (or night) in line just for a few hours of geeky bliss, here’s a list of other, lesser known panels taking place at San Diego Comic-Con 2014 that are just as interesting and fun. These selections caught my eye and represent almost every major corner of geekdom, but probably don’t require you to stand in line forever. You might just discover something new.

Be aware that since they are in smaller rooms, you can expect them to fill up pretty quickly, so get there early! And, of course, schedules are subject to change at any moment.
