Honestly, what I’m seeing here is that more YouTube videos will be finding their way on to TV screens, right after they are ripped off from the internet.

Frankly, I’m having a hard time understanding what the ELSE handset by ELSE mobile is offering.  The Else handset was recently launch to some press people and ELSE Mobile’s business partners.

I mean, it’s kind of vague when you say – a device that has the phone as one of its application, and a the user being the centre of the mobile device.

Even the ELSE Mobile’s “cool” interactive site was nowhere helpful in explaining what the ELSE handset is all about.

Don’t get me wrong here, the concept is pretty cool and innovative. And I could just image the splash it will be making once the device goes public sometime in Q2 2010.

Are we finally looking at the ultimate iPhone killer? From the looks department, the ELSE handset is definitely at the coolness level of the iPhone.

And guess what, said gadget is being targeted for the American, Western European and Russian market.  Would mobile carriers in these countries be excited about this new device?

With new cool design, the Creative Vado HD camcorder is practically the same camcorder as its predecessor except for three features – improved video quality in low light or brightly lit environment, manual exposure adjustment, external stereo microphone, motion detection mode and headphone output for private listening feature. And the camcorder now also has still photo capture capability.

And of course, this new camcorder just like any other camcorders in its class also boasts of direct video upload feature to YouTube and probably some other video sharing site.  But still the fact remains that to do this, you still have to connect the camcorder to a PC. Why Creative? Is it too hard to put in Wi-Fi connectivity to your camcorder?

Anyway, the Creative Vado HD camcorder is available now for pre-order at Amazon as well as over at Creative’s site. It will set you back for $179.99. So, you can either get this or get the Flip Mino HD instead for a cheaper price but with a lower storage capacity.

Words on the streets are saying that Cisco who bought Pure Digital makers of the Flip Mino camcorder are coming up with a new version of their flagship pocket video recorder, something that would have Wi-Fi connectivity features.

If you’ve owned one of these ultra-pocketable camcorders that lets you capture short videos that you can share with your pals via YouTube and other video sharing site, you would certainly be excited about this.

The Flip Mino camcorder should have this feature a long time ago, to make it truly a made-for-YouTube video capturing device.  This will surely crack up Flip’s rivals, as this feature would certainly bring in new interests to the Flip camcorder.

Count me in the early adopters once this new Flip Mino with Wi-Fi comes out. It would be a good replacement to my less than a year old Flip Mino HD.

Other reported features of this new Flip camcorder include –  ”a large screen that slides to reveal the record and menu buttons underneath.”

Three years after launching its Zune entertainment product, Microsoft has finally realized the need to make it international. Financial Times is reporting that Microsoft is about to launch its Zune entertainment brand outside of the U.S. Obviously, Microsoft has finally realized that they can’t compete with Apple’s iPod brand if the Microsoft Zune HD remains within the confines of the U.S. market.Alright, Microsoft fanboys who are not based in the U.S. This is it, your wait might  soon be over. Although no defnite details have been out yes, it’s enough to know that Microsoft has bigger plans for the Zune product.

Apple’s iPod need a worthy rival. And the Microsoft Zune HD might just be it. Currently, Microsoft’s Zune product ranks only at number 4 in the U.S. mp3 player market – a mere 2% share of the market.

Microsoft has a lot of cathing up to do. Hope they do it right this time.

For Dell, a mini-computer with powerful features doesn’t have to be expensive. Hence, their new Zino HD mini-computers can be had for only $299 for the basic configuration. This price can go as high as $799 if you opt for a more powerful mini-computer.

Anyway, the Zino HD mini-computer  is actually more of an entertainment PC.  It runs on AMD Athlon Dual-Core processor and a choice of Windows 7 OS as well XP, Vista or Ubuntu Linux.

If you have a money to burn, you might want so consider buying the Mac Mini instead. If you’re frugal like me, I’ll be contend with the Dell Zino HD mini computer.

As if it was not enough that their weighing scale is WiFi-enabled, Withings went far beyond imagination and made their bathroom scale Twitter-enabled.  What? Seriously?

Well, believe it or not it’s true. Withings’ bathroom scale not only measures your body and fat information but lets you store the “sensitive” information in the cloud as well. And worst, you can access the information using your iPhone.

But, even more worst is the fact that you can now twit those information to your Twitter followers. Do they really think that ladies would use this device? I don’t think so. My wife won’t even let me know this information about her.

But of course, the prerogative to twit your body and fat information still rest upon you. So, you might still be interested to get this device. It’s available now in the U.S. and would set you back for only $138 including shipping.

How’s Lightning McQueen and the other Disney Cars that twinkle when you have a new email sounds to you?

Believe it or not folks, the cellphone you see in the attached image is actually a working phone. Well, at least if you are in China where it is currently available on a limited supply only.

What can I say? It’s the ultimate dream phone for all you die-hard Michael Jackson fans.  Whoever conceptualized the design of this MJ phone is definitely a true-blooded Michael Jackson fans. Everything about the design speaks of MJ’s style and persona. It’s like MJ personified. This limited edition Michael Jackson is packed with some MJ goodies as well, particularly a complete DVD set of all Michael’s live performances. It could probably a case of music piracy so, I’m not really endorsing it.

But if you’re a MJ fan, you might be contacting your friendly Chinese importer right now to get this gadget for you.

Feature-wise, there’s nothing much that we can see from the attached image of the phone’s promotional flyer except for – Bluetooth,USB support, high-def camera, ebook reader, and FM radio. Of course the it’s also a music phone.

We have no way of telling how much this phone is going to cost you. But who cares, right? You’re not likely to get it anyway, are you?

How many thumb drives have you bought so far? I’ve got a couple of them and I would say that this tiny portable storage devices definitely come in handy for bringing along important files wherever I go. The problem is most thumb drives come with a transfer speed of around 480/mbps. And that could be slow especially when transferring around 4GB of data.

If you’re in South Georgia, you must have seen this Pac-Man Car, not chasing the monster pellets but probably just giving its owner a ride of his life. Speaking of the owner, he could probably Pac-Man’s most ardent fan. I mean, who would paint his 1996 Chevy Caprice in yellow and red Pac-Man theme?Not only is this car’s body painted with Pac-Man images and shapes but even its leather seats are customized with Pac-Mac designs.

And wait until you see the Pac-Man car’s rims – underneath the chrome wheels is Pac-Man’s face painted in between. Can you imagine looking at this car’s wheels while on the move?  On a hot sunny day, I would advise you to avoid looking at the car’s moving wheels do, it might distract you from your own driving.

It looks cool, right? Gives me an idea to paint my car witheither  Astroboy or Super Mario.

Are we users so addicted to Twitter, tweets, twittering and retweets enough for an electronics manufacturer to  consider releasing a Twitter stand-alone device?  Believe it or not but it’s true, the TwitterPeek gadget was made for the sole purpose of doing all your Twitter activities.Even more interesting is the fact that TwitterPeek is not yet officially announced by the manufacturer and yet it is already listed at Amazon for $199.

Call it sheer geekiness or simply the lack of anything productive to do, but these two guys certainly deserve some credit for working on thees iPhone costumes. You might want to emulate them and create one that you can wear on Halloween. Who knows you might scare away your friends or neighbors who are still using the BlackBerry or Android Phone.

Incidentally, these two were the same guys who did a similar iPhone costume in 2007. So, definitely it was a 1st gen iPhone costume and lacks the current version of the costume’s LCD TVs plus actual car batteries to power-up them up.

And like I said, despite the lack of productive purpose, these two guys still deserve some accolades because those costumes weighs 85 pounds. You can just imagine how burdensome it would be to wear those costumes.

In case you’re wondering, those LCD screens are not touchs enabled. It would been great if they are.

To make this new version of Whopper special, Burger King has stacked up 7 burger patties  in an normal Whooper. Of course that 7 is pretty much symbolic.

The Windows 7 Whopper  will cost you around $8.53, and it doesn’t come with a soda or any drink at all.

The Windows 7-Burger King promotional gig is part of a series of launch gig including the giving away of free copies of Windows 7 to the residents of the remote Dutch Village called Zevenhuisen (trans: “Seven Houses”)

Obviously, Windows 7′s strong sales performance even at it pre-order stage beats Vista’s entire pre-order stage.

And the demand for Windows 7 is still growing strong, says Amazon UK MD’s Brian McBride.

Windows 7 also beats Amazon UK’s best-selling title – The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown. Surely, there are far more better uses of Windows 7 than a book that would leave you breathless in awe and suspense, right?

This feat does not factor in future enterprise adaptation of Windows 7 yet. Wait till some Windows-eccentric corporations finally shed off their Windows XP enterprise installation, and give their employees a taste of Windows 7. For sure, more users will switch to Windows 7.

Of course you’ve heard of the Amazon Kindle.  What started as a 6-inch reader that displays e-books in e-ink against a gray background now has a larger 9-inch model. And it’s even going international as announced a few days ago. This means, that non-U.S. readers can now purchase the Kindle from Amazon and connect to the Amazon Kindle Store to get their fix of e-book goodness.

Sony e-Book Reader

The Kindle’s closest rival in the e-book reader market. It supports multiple file formats including ePub and PDF. Aside from tying up with Google books, Sony has also established its own online e-book store. The Sony eReader price starts from $199.99 for the Pocket edition and $299.99 for the Touch edition.

These two e-book readers are currently the major players in the eReader market. But there are other manufacturers who are planning to join the fun.

LG’s Solar Powered e-Book Reader

LG recently launched its own e-book reader and it has caught many people’s attention because  it is said to be solar-powered. It has a 10 centimeter wide thin-film panel that absorbs the sun’s energy to provide a full day’s worth of reading time. Other details of this e-book reader are yet to be announced but it is enough that we know that it is going to be one of those environment-friendly gadgets.

Plastic Logic’s Que Reader

Plastic Logic’s upcoming e-book reader has been getting a lot of attention lately.  In fact just today, it has finally been christened as the Plastic Logic QUE e-Book Reader. It is also rumored that this e-book reader will tie-up with Barnes and Nobles which recently launched it’s online e-book store.  With this tie-up Amazon should start worrying about its Kindle business.

Eee Reader

When Asus announced that it will be coming up with an Eee Reader, many got excited simply because Asus was able to to bring the netbook market to where it is right now with its famous Eee PC netbook line. Hopefully, the Eee Reader would materialize soon, as Asus promises to bring down the cost of e-book readers to the level which  majority of consumers will easily afford.

These are just five of the e-book readers that are expected to further shape the gradually becoming popular e-book reader market. Of course, it would be great if Google which announced its online e-book store recently, the Google Editions would join the fun and perhaps even with Apple and Microsoft might join the party soon.

I’m not a professional photographer although most of my friends are inclined to consider me as such. But when asked if I am a pro, I’d always reply that I’m more of a photo hobbyists/enthusiasts. Anyway, that’s not the subject of this article but what I really want to know is just how many digital cameras do you have right now? To make it more fun, let’s include phone cameras. And to make it even more fun, let’s include the cameras in your household.

I’ve got seven of them and they are:

Canon EOS 40D – Bought this one year ago as a replacement to my old Canon 400D (sorry Nikon fanboys). Along with this camera are several accessories including an external Speedlite 480ex, a Lowerpro camera bag, extra Li-ion battery, screen protectors. Obviously this one is what I use for my photo gigs.

Canon Ixus 100IS – This baby never leaves my pocket or bag. It’s so small that I could slipped it into my pocket and bring it anywhere I go. What for? Mostly for food photography.

iPhone 3GS Camera – If I want to share photos quickly to Facebook, I use my iPhone’s camera. The 3MP would produce decent quality photos. But lately, I’ve been using it because of the photo enhancement apps that I’ve downloaded. The most recent was “The Best Camera App.”

Sony Ericsson G900 Camera – It beats the iPhone’s 3MP camera but the only gripe about it is that it focus to slowly. The iPhone camera is faster.

Canon A650IS – My wife’s trusty old 12MP Camera. She’s waiting for me to hand her down the IXUS 100IS before she disposes this camera. I’ve used this several times and I would have to say that this camera is decent enough and falls just a little bit short of the Canon G90 in terms of features and functionality.

iPhone 3G Camera – This is my wife’s phone which she inherited from me after I got my 3GS. Lower MP than the 3GS but could still produce good quality photos.

Flip MinoHD – This is more for videos but you can produce still images from those videos. Never tried it though.

Sony Ericsson W760i – This one also beats the iPhone 3GS’ camera with its 3.2MP camera with auto-focus. Good enough to take decent quality photo.
