Tron: Legacy Fan Made Trailer Gets High Praise From Films Producer

It’s one thing to cut together your own fan made trailer for a movie, it’s a whole different ball game when you make a Tron: Legacy trailer that’s so good that even the films producer Sean Bailey praises your awesome work. The clip, named “Rerezzed” was actually made before the “Derezzed” trailer came out, a point the creator makes sure to highlight. Pay close attention to how well the trailer’s movement sync’s with Glitch mob’s “Animus Vox” almost as if they are working in tandem with one another: Read more »

Spider-Man Turn Off The Dark Preview Night Falls Apart

Spider-Man Turn Off The Dark Preview Night Falls Apart

I’ve been bitching and moaning about Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark, the Spidey musical from U2 founders Bono and The Edge for the last month, mostly due to a bad first song preview and costume designs that left me baffled. Well if the very expensive to produce Broadway show ends up at all like the first preview night the rumors and my assertions were definitely warranted. The NY Post and NY Times attended the show and here are just a few of the issues they witnessed: NY POST: The show had to be stopped four times in the first act alone for various snags. NY POST: As the character [Arachne], Read more »

Hot Toys Announces Most Realistic Looking Tron Toy Yet

Hot Toys Announces Most Realistic Looking Tron Toy Yet

Hot Toys just announced one of the coolest Tron: Legacy toys to date. The Sam Flynn Lightcycle figure. Maybe it’s just me, but the photo of the toy above looks crazy realistic. In June I reported about the light projected toys from the movie and I thought those were pretty cool or at least sci-fi based, but having a toy that looks this good without any tech tricks is just as impressive. Star Wars Mice Collection. Eeek.

Star Wars Mice Collection. Eeek.

I like the juxtaposition that occurs when someone takes a movie full of action scenes and characters we know and love and then they dumb it down into adorable caricatures and that’s exactly what’s happened with the Star Wars mouse collection by Anna and Naomi at the House Of Mouse. Here are some close up pictures of each available Star Wars Mouse: Read more »

Microsoft Vs. Nintendo, A Showdown Of Final Fantasy Proportions [Video]

Microsoft Vs. Nintendo, A Showdown Of Final Fantasy Proportions [Video]

There’s a battle blazing right now, on one side of the spectrum is the Xbox 360 which managed to finally dethrown the Nintendo Wii for four months, after years of dominance, then there’s the Wii, the little system no one saw coming. Now to show us the true battle of those company’s is Doctor Octoroc with his “Firewall” – SNES Style FF4 ‘Evil Wall Battle’ Parody Every gamer will notice he has chosen to use the SNES Final Fantasy style gameplay, which gives a pretty good representation of the battle…at least in my twisted mind. My favorite part occurs when the Xbox 360 with Bill Gates’ face built in starts Read more »

Harry Potter Shouldn’t Hang Out With Drunk Coke Heads [Funny Video]

Harry Potter Shouldn’t Hang Out With Drunk Coke Heads [Funny Video]

So what happens when you take Harry Potter and you get rid of fighting He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named? You end up with a bunch of belligerent teenagers who just want to drink beer and snort coke while trying to get into Hermione’s pants. Okay so the high pitched voices in the spoof film are a bit annoying, but the chroma keying of actors into certain parts of the actual Harry Potter movies, plus the great use of footage from the films to match what their dialogue is saying is pretty cool. Here’s the video: Read more »

Batman Had To Trade In The Batmobile After His First Child [Pic]

Batman Had To Trade In The Batmobile After His First Child [Pic]

Wow, the Batmobile is cool to drive around in, but what about when that time comes for Bruce Campbell to settle down and have kids, his wife will no doubt make him trade in his superfast wheels for a more family friends option and now he can, thanks to the Batvan. Created by a Batman superfan in Japan the custom van is decked out with some cool graphics, especially the designers depiction of Batman, but honestly the purple paint and crazy looking wings extending from the vehicle would probably make Batman feel just like every other dad that doesn’t want to step behind the steering wheel of a minivan?
