Still some of them would compromise by putting it in their coat closets and (much worse) under the kitchen sink.

I’d play the good friend by pointing them here so they can see a solution to their storage woes. Enter the AK Rock Box Gaming and Storage Ottoman with Drum Lift (Dark Brown). It’s a little pricey for a solution at US$199.99, but still, some of them wouldn’t mind putting in extra cash for home order.

It seems like a good idea too because it is currently out of stock at Amazon.

Check out the features:

- Stylish, handsome ottoman for your living room stores Rock Band gaming accessories
- Eliminates clutter while keeping your Rock Band instruments ready at a moment’s notice
- Enough interior space to store two gaming guitars, a foot pedal, and a microphone
- Specially designed AK Drum Lift raises and lowers Rock Band and Rock Band 2 drum kits with easy one-hand motion
- Measures 38 inches long by 22 inches wide by 17 inches tall and weighs 61 pounds; all instruments, accessories, and games are sold separately

Oh I could almost imagine the comfort of not having to download to my Macbook every time I needed more space. And the comfort of slipping it into my jacket, or even my pant’s sidepockets too. It beats those clunky and huge handicams by several shots.

There is no firm word on pricing yet and I’m not even sure if this would be available at Prime Outlets too (though I’m keeping my fingers crossed for that). There are rumors that it will sell well around the US$1,000 mark.

Anyway, check out the Sony website for more details.

Strap the multi-shape Cobra Stand around your waste and you’d never be apart from your screen… “congratulations”. :)

Funny how it costs almost as much as a game… at US$23 right here, it’s an easy pop to building relationship with your PSPs… too bad your girlfriend might choose to stay away for a while, we’d understand her.

Aside from being multi-shape… it’s also multi-function. It doesn’t need to be wrapped around you all the time! You can use the accessory vacum hook stand for table-top viewing.

Now, let’s take a look at the specifications:

- Suitable for the PSP2000/3000 series console
- Easy to install
- Easily to change viewing angle – 360 degree turnable
- 2 different stands included – Traditional vacum hook stand and Multi-Shape Cobra Stand
- Traditional vacum hook stand – easily to attach any neat surface – Length: 26cm
- Multi-Shape Cobra Stand – easily to bend to any shape – Length: 92cm

There’s something really cool with the tabs too. When you hover over a tab you’d see a preview of the page! Cool isn’t it? I’m not too sure how much system resource that consumes though, but it’s an improvement nonetheless.

I think most IE improvements will at the very least firmly hold IE’s 70% of the browser market share.

You can download IE8 right here. It’s available starting RIGHT NOW!

The CVSB-K22 cup/mug warmer has black tone insulation material around the metal heating plate for safety along with a red status light to let you know when the heating plate is active. After warmed, the warmer keeps your coffee/tea at a constantly warmed temperature for your continued enjoyment. Also useful for small mugs of soup, oatmeal and congee (we tested it here). Simple on/off switch lets you turn it on and off without having to unplug any cables. All that is needed is a simple USB port to plug into and you are ready for the long workday or night ahead.

What makes pleasing sense here is the availability of 4 extra USB hub ports… yeah it also works as a USB hub!

Great to gift the geekiest of geeks in the building!

Grab one right here for US$43.65 for a set of 5.

You can purchase it right here through PayPal for about US$8.95, which I think is not bad specially for situations calling for it. It is just available to the BlackBerry, sad to say, actually… it would look funny on an iPhone! I think.

The device, designed by Leong Peng, uses UV radiation to disinfect any tin drink. It takes 1 to 5 minutes and when the purple LED lights up, you’re good to go.

It’s still a design proposal but I hope it catches up on speed to the assembly lines soon. And who knows… maybe this can also be applied in commercial vending machines… good idea eh?

Not when the world has for ‘ya something to keep you interested washing your own dishes at least!

This is the Gota dishwasher designed by Ibsen Caldas and is made from ABS polycarbonate. It has the single geek in mind. Washing dishes will thus become very easy as all you need to do, like standard dishwashers around is to put dirty dishes in, plug the Gota and see it work through the see-through plastic top.

It does its job by using steam blown directly at your dishes, it later uses the residue steam to give your plates a final rinse.

My personal opinion is that this may be perfect for plates a little cleaner from grease. Probably the geek who loves sandwiches. And by the looks of it, it’s just really plates to wash here. Hmmm… well, at least eh?

No word on availability just yet, we’ll post it as soon as it hits the stores.

The Power Squid, I think is one of the most practical surge protectors available today. Invented by Christopher Hawker, it is by far the most flexible, most adaptable and user friendly power strip available. My first encounter with it was at Office Max about 3 weeks ago. The Power Squid, I think is one of the most practical surge protectors available today. Invented by Christopher Hawker, it is by far the most flexible, most adaptable and user friendly power strip available.

My first encounter with it was at Office Max about 3 weeks ago. I think I saw the black model which I think was a little to eerie for me. I ended up purchasing a Belkin power strip instead. It seem sfrom the Power Squid website that it is also available in off-white and gray colors. I wish Office Max carried them.

Features include:
- 5 grounded adapter-ready outlets
- 540 Joules
- LED Indicator Lights
- 3 ft. Cord
- $100,000 Connected Equipment Warranty
- Power Blocker automatic shutdown technology

I like the warranty… $100,000! Now that’s a solid belief by the product that it won’t damage any of your gadgets. There are several models to choose from, and the price do change between them. You can see them all right here.
