I have never been into crocheting, and I considered Home Economics classes as the most horrific times of my grade school/high school days. Well, at least those that involved needles, hooks, thread, and bolts of cloth. I have to admit, however, that these crocheted Doctor Who dolls are enough – almost enough – to make me want to consider picking up the hobby that I have always associated with, well, not myself.
The bad news is that you can’t actually buy these dolls ready made. It’s bad news if you don’t know crap about crocheting, but if you do, then there is good news for you. You can purchase the patterns for all 11 doctors plus the TARDIS. It will cost you $64 for the set. As I’ve repeatedly said, I am clueless when it comes to these things, but isn’t the price tag rather high for patterns??? You have to spend additional on the materials, not to mention the fact that you have to do all the work yourself!
Then again, looking at the photos the guys at NerdApproved have displayed, it really is hard to resist these crocheted Doctor Who dolls. Recent fans (like me) will know the images of the two most recent doctors by heart, and the dolls are just too cute not to want!
Long-time fans will love the other dolls, which, I have to say, look even better than these two. To see the rest of the doctors and their little doll counterparts, head over to NerdApproved.
Can someone do the crocheting for me, please?
