Sonim, maker of ultra-tough mobile phones, has just introduced its latest model. The XP2 Spirit is a 3G-enabled cellphone designed to be fully rugged and yet still sporting a decent range of features. First up, it’s octagonal (not equilateral, that would look rather odd) which is supposed to help it stand up better to being dropped. It’s also waterproof, having an outer shell made from hardened rubber, fibre glass and nylon, and a GORE-TEX covered speaker. Vodafone UK launches Sure Signal to boost indoor 3G coverage
Those of us for who the mobile phone is the most important communication tool will know the problem of trying to use it in a home or office that cuts out signal quality and makes it difficult or impossible to use. T-Mobile 3G/Wi-Fi USB
I’m a T-Mobile user and I’m really happy that rumors are circulating about T-Mobile’s 3G laptop USB sticks. I think I’d head on to the T-Mobile kiosk tomorrow for a looksie and a confirmation. I’m just a little too tired that it’s AT&T who’s spread out in Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts and umm… Subway. Now… I can use the internet everywhere.
