Alexandre Aja, the director behind the trippy Piranha 3-D movie wants to step away from his regular day job as a horror/thriller director to bring the anime character Space Pirate Cobra to life. If you’re unfamiliar with Space Pirate Cobra it’s a huge hit in Europe and features a space pirate who goes on various adventures, including one adventure where his mind is erased so he forgets he’s a space pirate.
