Speed Racer’s Mach 5 For Real

Speed Racer’s Mach 5 For Real

If you are a fan of race cars and you loved Speed Racer’s Mach 5, you can now own your own real Mach 5 car. Car maker Koenigsegg showed last year their show car named Agera. Defining the next generation of Koenigsegg and hypercars. This year they started the production of the Koenigsegg Agera R, which is very much inspired by the Mach 5. The original cartoon Mach 5 was the best race car of its time. For me the Batmobile is more of stunt and gadget car than a race car. There is only one Mach 5 and it has always been an awesome race car. Koenigsegg has yet Read more »

Ford "gets" the issue of tangled iPhone headphone cables, advertises Bluetooth

Ford "gets" the issue of tangled iPhone headphone cables, advertises Bluetooth

Some ads drive me completely nuts, but I think this one for Ford is quite clever. It displays 15 common knots, but instead of using rope it uses various bits of iPhone cabling, including the headphones, dock and USB connectors. 3D view in the Navigon 7300T

Wow, I think this is just all to perfect! I use GPS devices a lot, specially if I’m going out of my 10-mile radius from downtown Chicago. I know I have to start to memorize my turns and roads BUT I tell you, it gets confusing with new signs being put up everyday, re-routes and don’t get me started with snow and hard rain, and fog that just blurs a driver’s vision. The Portable Spotlight

The Portable Spotlight

Seems like a pretty solid car gadget. I’m sure most of you had the chance to frantically hope in finding anything to adequately light up a torch during a car emergency. And who has instead opted to light up a a lighter in the car for a long period… dangerous! And how would it light up in the first place in icy weather. Boy, good thing winter is almost over. It’s good to note that we, again, have technology to the rescue. A rechargeable powerful flashlight that plugs into your lighter socket. I’d call it plug-and-forget UNTIL you actually need to use it. Spotlight is equipped withbright LED light bulb, Read more »
