One of the most vibrant development communities online is the Twitter third party application community. There are hundreds if not thousands of different Twitter applications and mashups. Now there finally is an awesome addition to the pack with Breadbox64.

Breadbox64 is not just another Twitter client, but a Twitter client for Commodore 64/128. With the help of a cartridge add-on for C64/C128 it is no problem nowadays to go online over ethernet.

You know, we have all the newest in gaming consoles, the newest in mobile games, and yet there are times when we yearn for something from the past. The familiar look and sound of old games and applications just cannot be matched by the glitter of more advanced technology at times.

Enter the Commodore 64 home computer emulator. Dubbed Frodo, this emulator was ported from Christian Bauer’s original Frodo for Amiga. We can thank Jal Panvel and Alfred E. Heggestad for doing this wonderful task for Epoc and Hannu Viitala for Nokia 9210 and S60.

Viitala writes in his web site:

The latest version of Frodo also supports sensors (accelerometer), vibration, on-screen keyboard C64 and audio engine. To enable those those features, you have to install Bilbo library also.
