One of my greatest childhood frustrations was the Etch a Sketch. No matter how hard I tried, I never was able to create a cool design or picture with the thing, and it drove me nuts. Eventually, I hucked it across the room in frustration and stormed off. Inevitably, a week or so later I’d go and pick it up and try again. Wash, rinse, repeat. But this is legitimately cool. It’s an official Etch A Sketch iPad Case, and better yet, it’s cheap. $39, which is cheaper than most iPad cases out there today, and it also doubles as a hiding box for your iPad, because really, who’s going to jack Read more »

Pringles iPod Dock
Only just created but immensely popular already, our Dept. of WTF continues to grow with this Pringles iPod dock by Nick M. I made this project for a friend in about an hour. It is al made from found parts laying around our apartment. I uses a set of speakers, and an ipod charging cable. The entire project cost around 5 dollars and was quite fun. The project requires nothing but the can itself, a set of speakers, hot glue, ipod cable (if you want), and an exacto knife. The can holds itself up. 2 Points for creativity, minus 5 for looks and probably another minus 5 for sound quality. Read more »
iBoo Speakerset
I don’t know if I have to admit it, but this iBoo speakerset, docking station for iPods is rather cute. The spooky station features 3 speakers and a subwoofer for a total of 15Watt. It also comes with a mini remote, touch control and an AUX input to connect to TV. It is available in red, blue and white. At $89.99 even the retail price is acceptable. Read more »
The iCarta iPod Dock
This is real, no joke at all! Just before I hit the sack I tried pulling up Amazon.com to see what is there I can find interest in. Page after page was all too boring, but when it’s time to hit the final click… viola! The iCarta iPod dock tissue dispenser! LOL. Currently on-sale is one used and one unused unit. Boy, will that used unit stay there forever! This seems to drive my suspicion a little further that they’re making iPod docs out of everything these days… there’s the iLamp, the iChair, the iEverything… now the iI’veseeneverything! The iCartca tissue dispenser for the toilet. Here’s a brush stroke of Read more »
The Lego iPod Dock
In case you didn’t notice, we are big fans of Lego and related technology products, like the Shuffle Lego Case and the Lego Penguin. With that being said, the latest lego tech product is actually a dock for your iPod. It is hard to believe, but inside that small lego block there are tiny speakers. I doubt the sound will be anything good, but in this case the looks are worth more than the features. Priced at approximately $16, the Lego iPod Dock is available at 10×10 from Korea. PS I wonder why companies do bad photoshop jobs instead of taking a photo of the product? [Via - technabob] Read more »
