Collecting Ball-Jointed Dolls (BJD) is probably one of the geekiest but coolest hobbies I’ve seen and heard of. You think that only kids collect dolls? Think again. BJD collecting has a very big but niche market and is most popular mainly with Otakus. There’s just something very anime-ish with most BJDs. Big eyes, skinny bodies, colorful hair. You get the drift.
