I once read through an online FAQ session with the maker of QWOP and how he simplifies all his games by making them sports games. Because that way he doesn’t need to spend extra time explaining the rules. In QWOP, you have to sprint to the end. In GIRP (I guess a play with “GRIP”), you have to climb to the top. Since I was introduced to computers and internet, both which happened in 1997 I was hooked on two things. ICQ and point-and-click game you got on CD-ROMs. I wasn’t aware back then of what was all possible online except for Napster and ICQ, so the games I played where on CD-ROMs. I never remember the names, except it was a mystery game which a guy waking up in a bathroom with no memory of what happened. IGN opens free games section

The folks at IGN has developed a new section that gamers will surely welcome. IGN has made a Free-To-Play Games section on the site that will help gamers in choosing all of the cool, free games that are available on the internet but are not getting a lot of publicity. This a great resource as you won’t need to Google around or wait for friends to make recommendations, IGN has already done all of the dirty work.
