Guns have never been a safe topic, and we will always have the aggressive proponents as well as the just as aggressive opponents. As with most – if not all – of our posts, though, this will not delve into the politics and ideology behind guns. Instead, let’s take a look at some really cool-looking doorknobs. Designer Nikita Kovalev has thought of a different way to use firepower by creating gun doorknobs that will be a fun addition to any gun lover’s furnishings. Her work, as shown on Behance, is an impressive set of pistols, as you can see below. The concept is called the Bang Bang Handle. The site Read more »

With simple bedding supplies bought at Walmart or Target, you can have a Star Wars-themed bedroom of your own. But it takes someone truly special to create an entire bed — frame, mattress, and all — themed around Star Wars. Have you ever seen an AT-AT shaped bunk bed? Or a 70s-style circular bed tricked out to look like the Millenium Falcon? Read more »

I have always had trouble sleeping at night, but the idea that my bed could be the culprit has never really entered my mind until now. After all, I have had my fair share of beds over the years, and the sleep problem is still there. With these geeky beds, though, I just might have found a cure. Interactive LED coffee table could be so much more
At one level I like the idea of this coffee table. Yes, it’s ludicrously expensive — $1,500 for a small table up to $2,100 for a large one — but it has a certain cool factor to it. It contains 480 super-bright LEDs and 24 infrared optical sensors to provide visual feedback when an area of the table is touched or an object is placed on it. Nice concept, but why not allow it to do more? Read more »

AK Rock Box Gaming and Storage Ottoman
What does 38″ long by 22″ wide and 17″ tall ottoman mean? Well to some it may mean extra space to park crashing friends in a small flat, BUT now it seems the old ottoman has found new function… say in keeping your Rock Band controllers! I’ve been to some of my friends’ homes and well, you’d see the “organized chaos” with those Rock Band controllers left in a corner, on a corner table, under the Christmas trees (ha! yes, some of them still have their trees!). Still some of them would compromise by putting it in their coat closets and (much worse) under the kitchen sink. Read more »
Vision One Computer Workstation
The first time I saw this set-up I thought it was a grooved-up rock band drum set of sorts. I could imagine the ultimate geek swatting away some heavy beats. Those pads around the chair sure does look like drum pads don’t they? Although these would surely put a little smirk at your bandmates faces. Or probably an embarrassed smile excuse that says “I’m with an idiot! haha”. But this setup is the Vision One Computer Workstation, the pads you see there are armrests, the mouse pad, and speaker stands. It has a 3-monitor stand provision for those who like to see more things in perspective. I think this is Read more »
