A few months ago I already went into the subject of headphones as fashion item. When I saw the newest headphones born from a collaboration between Skullcandy and Roc Nation I was immediately sold, just by looking at the couple of photos available. The Roc Nation Aviator headphone is clearly retro inspired and totally drool worthy. I was never really into Skullcandy headphones as they targeted the teenagers and fans of the rock genre in my opinion. So I never really stood still in the store and give them a second look. Now that iPods are mainstream they don’t turn heads anymore when you walk around holding one. If you want to draw attention to yourself you can do that with striking headphones. In an era that even tech must be fashionable you need to have the right headphones. You can go with geeky/kid by getting animal earbuds, these are earbuds with animals on the outside so it looks like there are animals sticking out of your ears. Ford "gets" the issue of tangled iPhone headphone cables, advertises Bluetooth
Some ads drive me completely nuts, but I think this one for Ford is quite clever. It displays 15 common knots, but instead of using rope it uses various bits of iPhone cabling, including the headphones, dock and USB connectors. Are you a lucky person who has never had a pair of headphones tie themselves up in knots? It tends not to happen with more expensive headphones with slightly thicker wires, but smaller earbuds and thinner wires always seem to get caught up in themselves, no matter how carefully they’re put away. Skull Candy Headphones
Some of you have probably heard about Skull Candy already. It was my first time to hear about them last week, though. A colleague of mine was listening to some music on his iPod and I noticed his one of a kind head phones. The first thing that I noticed was the design – it screamed of my favorite band, Metallica.
