Anyhow, if you are into calendars that serve a different kind of purpose, you will love the Mapping Stereotypes Calendar Project by Alpha Design. As you can read from the title, however, this is definitely not for you if you are rather sensitive about political correctness and everything else remotely related to the concept. The Mapping Stereotypes Calender Project might very well be the furthest thing from political correctness.

The idea is to take the map of the world – or parts of it – and change the labels on the countries depending on the perception of a group of people. You can easily see how wrong this can go. Then again, you have to bear in mind that this was done with all silliness in mind. Just laugh it away and not take it too seriously.

With that warning being thrown out there, I shall let the maps speak for themselves.

Everybody loves Hitman: Blood Money. From pushing people two feet down to their deaths, to soiling panties with ether and running away from a madman on a wheelchair, Agent 47, when controlled well can have the ultimate nonchalance as a silent assassin. The truth is, what we see most of the time are moments of fail, mostly due to glitches and botched up timings.

And yeah, falling to your death from two feet is still hilarious.

Thanks to Danny of FMLFTW!, I was introduced to a weird world where fastfood logos were magically changed to images that would not be out of place in J.K. Rowlings’s created world.

I don’t know about you, but I found the logos really amusing. It may be that the concepts are really brilliant, or it may be that I just ingested too much MSG from the dinner I ordered from McDonald’s. Whatever the reason is, I am going to bed with a belly full of fastfood. Anyhow, take a look for yourself.

So which one tickles your fancy the most? I think “Weasley is Our King” bests the rest of the logos, if only because I find Ron Weasley to be the most charming of the Harry Potter gang. By the way, I am still thinking of a Harry Potter version for the Starbucks logo. Anyone up for the challenge?

Whether or not you wish to take this seriously, it is up to you, but I simply couldn’t pass up on the chance to share this flowchart.  Who does not like flowcharts, anyway?

Earlier this month, TechCrunch dubbed Blippy’s 404 page as the “best ever.” As can be seen in the image up there, the unicorn is kinda cute, but not impressive, is it? Then again, the fun doesn’t end there. The page is actually interactive, making it a “joy” to explore the 404 page. I am not going to go into the details – go visit Blippy’s 404 page. That post prompted me to sniff around for more interesting 404 pages, and guess what I found?

This is the 404 page of Thomas Alan Design Agency. I’ve never heard of them, but this page gets two thumbs up from me! (Guess why?)

So everyone loves bacon, right? No one more so than Matilda, the dog who finds pages for Booyant. Their 404 page is also interactive – you simply have to feed Matilda three bacon slices, and she’ll help you with whatever you need. Remember to follow the instructions when you get to the page!

Saving the best for last…Urban Pill’s 404. What can I say? Nothing beats Chuck Norris, and if he wants to keep the page you are looking for, there’s nothing you can do about it! Well, you can try getting it back but be ready to die.

It seems that countless other people have found a better use for Venn diagrams – to make your work day more bearable. Take that diagram up there (via Next Round). It’s been making the rounds for some time now and I am not certain that it’s accurate, but it sure will take your mind off whatever’s bothering you! At the very least, you’ll be assessing your social aptitude (or ineptitude), obsessive tendencies, and intelligence. And, if you take any of that stuff seriously, then you really do deserve to be called one of those labels!

To be honest, even if I had slept on my back and barely moved, I’d be a bit worried if my hair looked like #1. Still, my hair’s so short it barely changes no matter what I do. Here, you’ll see that word used 20 times — that’s TWENTY times. I can see why you wouldn’t want that word used so many times in a short article. particularly if you’re running Google ads.

themselves deep into your hard drive then you really should read this! (Funnily enough there was no download link on the original site, not that I’d include it here anyway.)

Delete today once and for all! You need to know how to delete from your hard drive. Deleting from your hard drive is not possible without the special software because the fragments bury deep into your hard drive and it becomes very hard to delete . Even fragmenting your hard drive wont get rid of it… You need to know how to delete as soon as possible or it can lend you in a lot of trouble!… You don’t even have to download yourself for it to get in to your computer hard drive, it comes from various sources and it starts to come up as pop ups and ads that are incredibly annoying and can cost you money!

What is the worst part about is it can lend you in some serious trouble and can cost you your family, your job and can even see you go to prison if you don’t successfully delete it from your hard drive and get caught by the computer forensics and cyber police! These guys keep a close eye out for suspicious information downloads and illegal and now they are catching illegal downloaders and fans more than ever before! Even if you didn’t buy or download and it entered the computer by itself through some kind of spyware and that will still get you in trouble even if you haven’t intentionally downloaded or knew it was there, So i suggest you delete from your hard drive now and the software that will help you is called Terminator…

I Downloaded the Terminator and within about 15 minutes it found over 1,346 fragments in the registry and my hard drive and it got rid of all of it for me, i can now sleep tight knowing that i don’t have to worry about having found on my computer! I encourage you to delete now that you know how to delete porn, You have a lot to lose because of on your pc, so delete ALL of it once and for all with Terminator!

With today’s Apple’s iPhone 3.0 event and the wildest guesses about an Apple tablet circulating again, rumours the FG HQ does not believe in, no matter how many caffeinated drinks we enjoyed already this morning, we thought it was more important to announce Apple’s newest upgrade to an even simpler UI, thus simplificating the switch from Windows to Mac more even day.

The iMac Shuffle

No price has been announced yet, but we expect the price to be competitive with the new unibody MacBooks. Features and specs after the jump.

Amazingly Uncomplicated
Taking out the screen allowed us to make the iMac even thinner. Seriously, if we turned it to the side, you nearly wouldn’t be able to see it. We’ve also built in our latest technology – VoiceOver. We liked moving the iPod controls out of the iPod shuffle so much that we decided to replace the keyboard and mouse with the same elegant input device…our inline remote. With the combination of VoiceOver and the remote, you’ll never miss your old screen. Who needs all those colors anyway? We’ve enclosed a complete 72,000 page manual that will tell you everything you need to know about navigating using the remote. Using just those 3 buttons, remote, you can easily jump to any window, launch any program…edit multi-layered Photoshop documents, anything your heart desires, you can imagine doing.
Ports? Who needs those?
We’ve also taken out all of those unnecessary USB, Firewire and display ports. We always remove at least one useful port/storage device at random from each new Mac revision, so we figured that we’d just get a jump on ourselves and remove them all this time. Normally we replace them with a newer port/device (Floppy to CD-ROM, or DVI to Mini DisplayPort), but since we’re so far ahead of ourselves, we honestly just don’t have anything to replace them with yet. After removing them, we found that we enjoyed the clean lines of this smooth metal chassis so much that honestly, we just might not bring any ports back.
What’d we leave in? The power button and the bottom-facing speakers. That way you can hear the amazingly impressive Mac startup chime and VoiceOver in all its glory.

Japanese tombstone maker, Ishinokoe has developed a new tombstone that will contain a scanable bar-code behind a lockable door on the tombstones, allowing family members and friends to scan them with their mobile phones.
This is a modern interpretation from the ancient Egypt belief in providing Pharaohs with their treasure for the trip in to afterlife.

The thombstones will be equipped with a barcode, which people can read with their mobile phone and then _interact_ with their beloved in scrapbook alike style, posting or viewing memories, photos from the past.

I must admit it all sounds very vague, to me at least, and possibly even boring, but imagine having a grave with a barcode and future possible usages!

I so would let people challenge my best lap times in Race Driver: Grid. They could even see how my ghost leaves them behind.

When a woman in New Jersey ordered a birthday cake from a Wegman’s supermarket, she used the option to print a custom message on the cake. All she had to do was send an email. Easy you would have thought, and it was. But the super machine, AKA computer had more problems with the cake and could not interpret Italian, in which part of the message was written. Instead a series of error messages showed up on the cake.

I bet Sheldon would love one of these cakes for his birthday and am sure Think Geek will soon offer cake too!
