Legendary reviews are dismal

Reviews for Legendary are trickling in. And, man, are they bad. Gamespot gave the Xbox 360 version of the game a dismal 3.5 while IGN gave it an even lower 2.5. A review this bad will surely be the death of a game. The reviews all blame the nonsensical story and very poor level design as the culprit. The battles are also said to be very unimaginative. I was quite excited to play this game but after the reviews. I’ll still play it but I won’t buy this game. I’d rather save it for a better game. Read more »

A taste for Legendary

I’m not really a huge fan of FPS games. Except for Half-Life and Call of Duty 4, I’ve rarely been enthralled enough by shooters to really get into them for the long-term. But if there’s one FPS that I’m really looking forward to it’s Legendary. Legendary (just imagine Barney Stinson saying it for goofy effect), is a new FPS with a fantasy bent. You play Charles Deckard, a thief who unwittingly opens Pandora’s Box. You’ll be battling various mythological creatures in this FPS, which is where my excitement stems from.
